Oak Row Access Control Upgrade

Oak Row Luxury Apartments located in West Roxbury, Massachusetts is just 30 minutes away from Downtown Boston and has all the perks of modern living while keeping that small town charm. Oak row features 80 units with options for one-to-three-bedroom apartments in over twenty different layouts. Oak Row cultivates a lifestyle defined by convenience, comfort, and community. The shared areas are bursting with engaging amenities which include a Clubroom with kitchen and terrace, Work Lounge and Conference room as well Private Work Pods, Wellness Center, Package Concierge, Pet Wash and Dog Run, Secure Indoor Bike Storage, Game Room, and Easy to use Garage Parking with Car Charing Stations.

Oak Row was built in 2018 but by 2020 they weren’t happy with their Access Control Providers limited options for community wide integration as well as the lack of Bluetooth capable credentials. Working together with one of our access control partners we were able to get them a new system which provided them with all the features they were looking for while only replacing the controllers and the card readers. Using the existing locking hardware and exiting equipment we were able to keep their cost as budget friendly as possible. We were able to also install a hands-free garage door opener for residents and integrate with their current Butterfly MX intercom, hands free door opener, and Amazon Key. In 2023 we jumped at the chance to again work with Oak Row but this time to secure their elevators and stairwells where we worked with their elevator vendor to install and connect card readers to the elevators control. We look forward to more projects with this amazing client.

Watercrest Senior Living Myrtle Beach South Carolina Zoom Phone Transition

When you work with an amazing team like Watercrest Senior Living Group it doesn’t really feel like work. Over the last decade we have had a dedicated partnership with them working on hundreds of projects together, including several brand-new facilities where we handled all their low voltage needs from breaking ground and cabling all the way up to continued support and new projects after the building was turned over. So, when they reached out to us earlier this year to be onsite to help with transition to Zoom Phones for their office and residents at their Myrtle Beach, South Carolina location we couldn’t wait to get started.  We installed the new hardware devices needed for the transition as well as reprogramed all the existing VOIP phones while working with the team at Zoom to ensure a smooth transition and handle any issues that may have come up so they could focus on the care they give to their residents.

Meet our Super Intendent Joe Chambers

Joe Chambers is our Super Intendent, after over a decade in the United States Marine Corp Joe knows the hard work and dedication that is takes to lead teams in low voltage infrastructure. Joe has over 20 years of experience in communications technology and low voltage cabling in the commercial and residential markets. When he is not working Joe enjoys volunteering at his local High School as an assistant wrestling coach as he traveled globally for The United States Marine Corp wrestling team and he enjoys deep sea fishing. Joe loves to relax at home and watch football with his 6 children and considers being a dad as his greatest achievement.
